Activities

What is an Activity?

An Activity can be a lesson, homework, quiz, assessment, poll, or anything else you'd like to save or assign to a class.  You can either create your own Activities or search Weo for other Activities to use in your class.

Creating an Activity

  1. Click the Create in the top right corner of you screen.
  2. Give your Activity a title, description, and labels.
  3. Start adding items to your Activity.  Items can be:
    • Questions (multiple choice, short answer, free response, or poll)
    • Videos
    • Links
    • Images
    • Documents
    • Text
  4. Pin or Assign your Activity when you're done.

Pinning

Pinning an Activity saves is to a Board.  All of your saved Activities are organized on Boards.  Create different Boards for different types of Activities so you can find and organize all your material.  Your Boards can be found on your Profile page.

Assigning

Assigning an Activity immediately sends the Activity to the classes you select.  You should assign an Activity when you are ready for your class to see or do it.  If you're not ready for you class to view the Activity, Pin it to a Board and assign it whenever your ready.

Drafts

If you're creating an Activity but not ready to pin or assign it, you can just press the back arrow in the top left corner to exit.  Activities are automatically saved, so you'll be able to find anything you didn't pin or assign in your Drafts sections.

Drafts can be found by clicking on your name or avatar on the main navigation and selecting Drafts from the dropdown menu.
