Weo Blended Learning Fellowship
The Weo Blended Learning Fellowship is a highly selective program for teachers interested in creating a truly blended learning classroom. The program lasts for 5 months and offers teachers cutting edge development around incorporating blended learning in the classroom.
The fellowship is truly one of a kind in both its programming and exposure to the world of blended learning. Teachers in the fellowship will convene once a month to learn, share and expand their knowledge of blended learning and will leave each session equipped with new tools to use in the classroom the very next day.
WIFM: What's in it for me?
Each cohort is comprised of just 20 teachers to ensure each teacher has significant one to one support. Teachers who successfully complete the program will receive the following:
- Free "forever" access to the Weo platform
- 1:1 development support from our Weo Development Team
- Professional Development over 5 sessions comprised of the most cutting edge blended learning curriculum available
- ED-Tech Toolkit to get you and your classroom blended learning ready
- Computer bag
- Weo Blended Learning Certification: this certifies you as the expert at your school site on all things blended learning.
- Capstone project: all fellows will complete a capstone project with support from our development and training staff.
Interested teachers should apply online: here
We are looking for teachers at all grade levels and school types
Exceptional teachers will be invited to complete a phone interview with Weo staff members. The phone call is typically 30 minutes in length.
GROUP INTERVIEW DAY
Finalists will be invited to participate in our Group Interview Day (GID). This will be an opportunity for our staff to really get to know you as an educator and how you work with other peers.
Fellows will be trained on the most cutting edge blended learning implementation curriculum available, which include the following training modules.
- Getting Started with Blended Learning
- Systems and Operations
- Tools of the Trade
- Blended Learning Culture
Fellows will also be hearing from thought leaders from the world of education and technology during their fellowship experience. Fellows will also receive ongoing support from their peers and Weo staff both in the fellowship and at their school sites.
What's the time commitment?
We know you're busy. Fellows will meet just once a month for 2.5 hours in the evenings from 5:00 - 7:30 (don't worry, dinner is provided!).
Because our time together each month is so brief, we expect our fellows to come to sessions prepared and open to new ideas!
